Podcast # 50 Birthdays

A birthday is a special time to honor the day of arrival on earth of a friend or loved companion. The life journey is filled with rivers of tears and mountains of joy. There are moments that last forever and moments that disappear into the night. NOW is the time to participate fully in the many wonders of this world. Regardless of our circumstances, our attitude towards what has come upon us is our choice. Let's walk on this earth as eco-citizens, people who act with reverence towards all life and keep the atmosphere clean with positive thoughts. This is the Journey of Life!!!
Thank you for traveling with me through these many podcasts and blogs of "Traveling with English." Send a blog and I'll appropriately respond. Ja, ciao, farewell.

Podcast # 49 Thoughts For The Day

Often when traveling, people aren't adequately prepared for the local weather conditions. Holiday travelers seldom enjoy intense heat or rainy days. Actually, a walk in the rain can be quite pleasant. In many urban areas the rain will clean the air. In dry, hot areas the rain can be very refreshing. In some places, like Ireland, or one of the Hawaiian Islands, the weather can change several times in the same day. It's all part of the dynamic experience of traveling abroad.

Podcast # 47 Tours

Most large cities through-out the world will have a Tourist Information Center (and certainly many small cities too). Often the workers at these centers will feel proud and delighted to tell you about the historical sites in the area along with the fun, 'must-see', entertainment spots. Take advantage of these TIFs. Their advice is free and is often a bright light amidst the confusion that sometimes appears while traveling in foreign lands.
